This is a new chapter in the ArcelorMittal story; Health & Safety Day is a global initiative and the first tangible sign of the integration process.
The one day event took place at locations around the globe on the 6th March 2007. The campaign message 'to fulfill an accident record of zero'. The journey had originally begun in 2003 and the downward trend in accidents is already apparent. Strong leadership is driving this Health & Safety process and there is constant assurance that ArcelorMittal are putting their people before the job.
With these key messages, and the commitment shown by management, employees and sub-contractors alike this ArcelorMittal campaign aims to achieve positive results. Health & Safety is the number one priority.
